From concept to creation, Crossmuller yet again delivers market-leading conveying technology into the Australian Food Manufacturing Industry.
A Crossmuller customer was in need of a conveyor to help improve the handling of a friable product in one of their busier production lines. After taking a few measurements during a site visit, Crossmuller’s project design engineers set to work to draft a concept design of a portable stainless steel food grade belt conveyor.

After taking a few measurements during a site visit, Crossmuller’s project design engineers set to work to draft a concept design of a portable stainless steel food grade belt conveyor.
On completion of Crossmullers 3D design, the customer provided approval of the concept and engaged Crossmuller to manufacture the conveyor. This elevated, portable food-grade, pleated belt conveyor is capable of conveying 4000kg per hour at a height of 2.5m. It included a quick-release belt tensioner for ease of cleaning as well as visual inspection slots. Being manufactured from 316 Marine Grade Stainless and finished to food-grade standards there was no risk of contamination during the customer's caustic cleaning process or during prolonged use of the conveyor.
Crossmuller is also more than capable of providing onboard or remotely mounted electrical controls, be it networked to existing site-wide Scada systems or stand-alone HMI operation. With their in-house electrical department, Crossmuller can electrically design, manufacture, program, and install almost any type of electrical control system.
